When I was in Shanghai four weeks ago to visit my love, I didn't have so much time to make outfit posts, even though we had planned it in but the time just flew by, so here's an outfit of between sight-seeing, shopping and enjoying drinks in the sunshine. I just love how well my DVF bag goes with nude colors, it's such a great eyecatcher. I am sorry for the delay of this (and the previous) posts but as you might know, I am just so busy with a full-time job and a bachelor thesis next to it. Luckily I found some time to shoot a few outfits of what I have been wearing this week. Have a lovely weekend, y'all!

Floral print balconette bra and panties - H&M

A real Parisienne - so I've read - always wears a pretty ensemble underneath her everyday wardrobe which gives her a luxe and confident feeling. While I myself consider functional undergarments to be key, I couldn't help but take this perfect pretty print ensemble with me. It is just too cute and it's perfect for upcoming spring feelings... I just couldn't keep this one a secret.

Leo print blazer - The Kooples | Tiger print sweater - Zara

I'm so in love with the current animal print trend, especially the black-and-white-version of it. Zara is full of fab pieces and this white tiger head printed sweater is a great piece to combine with all kinds of colours and play with the monochrome trend. I was so lucky to find the blazer from my favourite brand The Kooples in Zurich the other weekend; not only does it fit like a glove, it also looks absolutely spectacular at any day and night time. Can't wait to show you some outfit posts.

Hello there, lovelies. I am happy to show you a new outfit post which has been shot two weeks ago when I was in Shanghai visiting my love. The weather was marvellous and the city very exciting. FASHION | DANDY STYLE

Saint Laurent's amazing collection is breathtaking and I'm really getting grow to like the so called dandy style. While I'm not particularly a fan of tom-boy outfits, I love the idea of taking elements from men's basic wardrobes and lend them a twist of extravagant femininity. I've got a major crush on that deep V-neck shirt which I'd love to combine with a tailored blazer and lots of leather, giving the whole dandy look an edgy, yet ultra chic twist. Plus - I really must get my hands on those Wang booties! 

PHOTO DIARY | LONGING FOR SPRING TIME

A short recap of the last two months: I've started my internship in Switzerland and I'm currently working on my bachelor thesis at the same time. Getting used to the new routine and the little time I'd have for blogging was quite an issue but I'm getting there. Since I really love blogging I do my best to keep up with posts, my fashion inspirations and outfit posts even though I really have little time at the moment but as probably many of you can comprehend, I just can't live without it. I apologize if it takes a little time to answer all lovely e-mails and comments. Those who follow me on Instagram have probably seen the only "outfit posts" I've managed to do recently; the "from-where-I-stand" pics.  For those who don't: my username on Instagram is fashionbirds and I'd be happy to see you there.

NEW IN | SPRING FEELINGS

I'm truly fed up with the cold, wet weather and not knowing what to wear. I'm longing for sunshine so I can finally wear open shoes, cropped jeans, dresses and shirts again. The cropped dotted jeans made me smile when I spotted them at Zara, they're just too gorgeous. Paired with a white blouse and some pumps, they make a great spring statement and I can't wait to finally put them on!
